My hubby works for General Motors making pickup trucks. A few years ago they went on strike and me and our daughters went up to walk the picket line with him and other employees and their families. The local Tim Horton's stayed open late and made and delivered doughnuts and coffee and hot chocolate and TimBits for the kids every hour all through the night. They provided 100s of doughnuts at the union hall for everyone coming in and out too.... we were so grateful for those good they worked more than they normally did and drove many miles in the bitter cold all night long to deliver to all of us. The strike lasted 41 days and they were there too!

I'm a Canadian living in the States. My kids are so excited when we go visit my family because they know they are getting timbits. I know there are Timmys in the States but none near us.
