The best Donut at Tim Hortons?!

We went to Tim Hortons to try a range of their finest foods but in particular we were excited to try their highly renowned Boston Cream Donut!

The thing about a Boston Creme is that almost nobody puts enough filling in them anymore, or they don't use a good creme in the first place. It really makes a difference. If you are ever in the area, Voodoo donuts in Portland, Oregon are legendary. Therr Portland Creme is a Boston Creme done to perfection. 10/10

Not all Boston cream are the same. Try one that's artisan. Made feom scratch and has more filling then the size of a quarter in the middle. You gotta have all three parts in one bite. ❤ 💯

Boston creme is my top 2 favorite....except I prefer mine with the pudding/custard. It looks like that one had a white creme, I recommend my favorite kind.

Ollie, you are breaking my heart! Boston Cream is based on Boston Cream Pie which is technically a cake. The Boston cream doughnut (or Boston cream pie doughnut, also spelled donut) is a round, solid, yeast-risen doughnut with chocolate frosting and a custard filling, resulting in a doughnut reminiscent of a miniature Boston cream pie. The cake consists of vanilla-flavored custard sandwiched between two-layers of sponge cake and topped with chocolate glaze and has been popular in Massachusetts since its creation.

Coming from a Canadian, I’ve never liked Boston Cream. I’d recommend double chocolate or chocolate glazed. Old fashion plain is really good too.
