Regina local here. A visit to the Bushwakker brew pub is a great idea. The RCMP museum is here as well. We also have a long list of local coffee houses/café that are really good, personal favorites are Cafe Francais and Le Macaron

First things first; to anyone asking, the reason they didn't ask him what he wanted in his coffee, they're not assuming, they're giving him black. if you don't specify what you want in your coffee, you're getting black. same applies for size. if you just say "just a coffee", you're gettin' a medium black.

If you go to the rcmp heritage museum it's quite small but do a comparison of canadian patches and American ones

The Royal Saskatchewan Museum has Scotty, the world's largest T.rex ever discovered. There's also the Saskatchewan Science Centre. Regina also has a drive in movie theater.

As a Canadian I was super excited to see you were up here I’ve been to Regina before but not enough to know what to do. Maybe check out the local legion might find good conversation with some Canadian veterans

I would’ve suggested that you take in a CFL football game (football 3-down style, lots of motion, 20 yard end zones, and a 55 yard line). However, the team was brutal and didn’t make the playoffs which would start now. Winter just hit Regina, so there’s always licking a frozen goal post.

Hi Ryan, I'm in Regina for a few weeks while my father is in the hospital. If you would like to go down to visit the underground tunnel museum of Al Capone's bootlegger operation, I'd be happy to drive you the 45 minutes to the town of Moose Jaw to check it out. It's really something to see. We'll grab some great local food as well, on me.

Depending on where you are there will be tray bakes called things like "Nanaimo Bars", which would be a bit like a Scottish traybake being called a Troon Bar. Maybe that's just a BC thing. Oh and have a Bloody Caesar cocktail (unless you have a clam allergy).

I'm also from the DC area and stayed in Canada for a few days once, for whatever reason it seemed like they had even more McDonald's than us. I could not go a single block without a McDonald's. This was in Vancouver tho, maybe they're just more American than the East.

Tim Hortons really suffered in quality since they were acquired by a company from Brazil.

If you're in Regina, check out Depot. It is where the RCMP train. They do morning exercises every day that you can watch.
