The issue is that it sounds like he's on a rebound. Never date someone who's still caught up with their ex because you can bet your last buck that ex is still lurking in the shadows. You're just going to be his back-up plan until he gets the woman he really has his eye on. In a relationship you should never have to act like someone's mother or their therapist. Girl get you a man who has his life together.
