My ex-girlfriend was EXACTLY like this woman. Extremely judgmental. Used her intelligence as a means of condescension. Tried to trap me into conversational topics I was uncomfortable with just to prove a point. I ended that relationship after one year. Never looked back.

I got my Master's degree, I married a man with only a high school education. He is extremely hard-working, driven, had all his life together when we met, knew exactly what he wanted. He's an amazing father and a wonderful provider. He's also 5 years younger than I, and I feel lucky to be married to such a wonderful man who on top of it loves the Lord. Education is not everything, and it's ruined plenty of people.

Being smart also means knowing what to say at the right time. I think she may feel that her smarts are the only thing going for her so she clings onto it and uses it as a coping mechanisms for when her dates fail. Lady your intelligence is not the problem, it's your damn personality
