If Future Gohan didn't die that day, he would be definitely stronger than Trunks when he fought Freezer. He would defeat both Freezer and Cold (at the same time) in the blink of an eye even without an arm.

When Gohan died it was my interpretation that he was roughly as strong as Goku was at the start of the Android fight -- around 200 million give or take -- strong enough to handle one of the weaker Androids of his time, but not for both. After the intensive, self-flagellating training he undertook as penance for Trunks's death I would have imagined he'd be able to immediately body Frieza and King Cold. All in all, I at least expected him to be on par with Trunks when he would have arrived, if not a bit stronger.

That said, holy crap, this scenario is awesome.

F.Gohan should've been stronger than F.Trunks was when he fought Frieza. Gohan states to Bulma in the Trunks special that he's about as strong as Goku when he died meaning he should be at least on par with Post Yardrat Goku who was capable of blocking Trunks' attack with a finger.

Oddly enough, we kinda got this in the recent Super Dragonball Heroes season. That version of Future Gohan joined the dark side, but then returned.

Future Gohan meeting up with his family and friends is really touching! He's finally no longer fighting alone, and he finally gets the chance to improve. Everyone's warm welcome and Chi-chi's grief over his lost arm... I just can't imagine how touched he'd feel at that moment. I kind of wish this was how the story would go except Future Bulma's grudge.

I noticed that the effects were way better then usual. while it is true that most people listen rather watch, the better effects gives a reason to watch and in my case helped me get into envisioning the scenes. Well done.
