Sadia was answering questions and dropping gems so fast I re-checked my playing speed. Valuable content. Thank you.

"self help" is an industry because it gets people hooked on consumption rather than the doing of. A big problem people often have is they consume the content but never process it to internalize it. And thus they end up repeating it word for word.

A professor once asked the class if we read the material before hand. We said yeah. He said, no I don't mean that you looked at the ink on the page, but actually thought about every sentence and worked out all the math equations. This ties into many learning techniques which have some form of writing down or speaking out a rewording of something into your own phrasing. That is its to help you internalize the ideas because you have to actively engage with it. It also helps to sort of role play act it out with thought experiments or day dreams. Then actually put it in practice.

The big problem many people take with listening to pod casts is they think simply hearing the words alone will somehow change their lives. They don't actually put in any effort to actualize the concepts behind the words. And thus they keep consuming hoping that the change will happen.

People hate the terms high value and low value because that implies that they actually have to do something to be desirable

If you find a humble lady in today's society who has an inward beauty that is vibrant. That is a good woman. Focus on inward beauty, and the ouward will become all the more beautiful. These women are rare these days.

One major aspect that people miss out on is when you take away all forms of media, specifically in the dating sense, you will realize most people's real value. The pretty girl who thinks she has all options but in real life maybe only 5 guys approach her in person a month, that is her real value. There is a bad side to being really good looking, that people's perception of you, good or bad. Dating has way more to do with you as a person, not just how you promote yourself. Unfortunately, people are addicted to the perceived value than the actual truth. Most people will do tricks to increase their value, like no contact or acting as if they don't like the other person, but the truth is it only hurts that person. Authenticity pierces all. The more authentic you are, the faster the other persons personality will be revealed to you.

Would Jack be interested in going on a date with a friend of mine? She's 25, lives in seattle, emotionally and financially intelligent, listens to this podcast, and thinks Jack is such a catch!!

Pro-tip: Don't be a high-value man/woman, be a man or woman of values.

It seems, in Sadia's deeply cynical view, that the majority of men really only care about high quality sex and physical attractiveness. It quietly suggests that when a woman gets cancer, or suffers from depression, or gains weight that men's love for their spouse or significant other decreases accordingly. Also in keeping with her cultural heritage (of which I am familiar having roots there myself), she very much tends to want to corral men and women into specific boxes of characteristics - men should handle business matters and women should naturally gravitate towards children, looking good, and the home. The reason she has this perspective is because these are the men and women she's surrounded herself with either by family proximity, social standing, or career choice. Sadia's cultural history and clientele have deeply biased her perspective. Keep that in mind as you listen to this.

Divorce rates are going down because marriage rates are plummeting. There aren't enough marriages to support the divorce rate.

24:40 🔥 is a really sharp point about women not being high-value if they get with a guy with no self-control

“Soulmates” (at 43 minutes) just reinforces that men are never truly loved unconditionally. It’s sad. The only thing that will love a man unconditionally is his mom and his dog.

i think breakups hurt men more because they are often blindsided by the woman. Most break ups are initiated by the woman. When she pulls the cord she already has a backup in place. She has affectively already gone through the breakup grieving process before even ending the relationship. Where the man has to process what happened after the fact. When fully blind sided it can also feel like a betrayal and so i think that hits even deeper.

Friendzone every woman you meet then you don't have to worry about the outcome. You let them chase you.

Also she mentions so many times women want a man that can spot their lies. But im shocked grahm never asked her why would anyone want a woman who lies? I don't. And contrary to popular belief not all women lie.

High/low value men and women is another term for men or women with or without self esteem. That is all it comes down to. I agree with Sadia that when you have high self esteem you take care of yourself, eat healthy, want to grow as a person, value maturity, and will not take crap from people or lower yourself in sleeping around without connection or dress provocatively. I’m not religious at all but this is how I lived my life. People may call me conservative bc I dress modestly but overall I’m a new age thinker, and I’m feminine but good at making money. Almost every guy I dated has wanted marriage but I haven’t married them bc I want a guy who is very confident and emotionally fit. Very hard to find these days.
