A past life in many modalities refers to the timeline in which the soul's avatar (body) no longer exists (died) in the video came (Earth simulator). The timeline can have all the non-linear lives in the years you've demonstrated. The soul does this over and over and over to gain experiences that the Earth can provide. (incarnations) The timeline that the soul currently has avatars in (alive) are called other lives. So in regression you can tap into "future" selves in the current timeline or "past" selves in the timeline and even past live's timelines to gain insights to help the avatar live the current life. You are right there are teachings that explain all of this and now science is catching up. So our bodies especially our energies centers (chakras) are used to send information back to the soul and again this is very old teachings. So the soul is too big for a physical body it will burn it off, so it sends a tiny piece that many times it is referred to as the higher self. That piece is supposed to sit in the center of the head (driver seat/ being present). If people learn how to do that they can then see the world and their experience of the world as a neutral observer of the body's experiences. I love the connection to science. ❤

I watched a video where there was a discussion of a scientist in the mid 20th century who studied consciousness and ended up having a spiritual awakening. Even as a child I would have experiences of deja vu, particularly in places I wasn't familiar with. Even when I was a teen I wondered if I was in some sort of paradox and that everyone had some type of connection that we all shared despite physical appearance.

I had a QHHT session (past life regression) and interestingly I had 3 distinct memories: one from a past era like Roman times or something, another one from a future time where I was interacting with beings from other planets, and another life where I wasn't even human and had no sense of time at all bc I was an ice molecule melting into liquid form. I don't know if those were my past 3 lives (in the consecutive sense) but it was definitely interesting that I jumped around through time like that.
