I am Korean, but Philippine’s garlic rice is the best fried rice!!

Gurl, you're making me crave breakfast for dinner

I'm not Filipino, but as an Indonesian I remembered back in elementary, my mom would cook me egg and corned beef. Instead of garlic rice, it would be topped off with fried garlic/ shallots (?) Or what we call bawang goreng.

Seeing this makes me want to recreate it now that I can cook. Your garlic rice seems so tasty ❤❤❤

It's lacking something, our mothers yelling passive-aggressive things in the morning while we're still in bed while she's making breakfast,

"Ako na lang talaga gumagawa sa bahay na to"
"Pag ako nawala kawawa talaga kayo"

But after that, we often have hearty meals together while laughing with each other💕

I'm not a Filipino but garlic fried rice is one of my fav breakfast food especially when it is cooked by my mom😊 it is my comfort food cause my mom always made it for me when I always had big examinations or when I stay up late studying

What makes it even truer to while eating breakfast in the philippines is the rooster in the background. Somewhat therapeutic from the sound saying that its a bright and peaceful morning and nothing is going to ruin it.
