Wolverine - Every War He’s Fought In

Wolverine has been in four American wars despite being Canadian!
He fought in the US Civil War for the Union, serving on the side of the North and was even directly hit by a cannonball!

Afterwards, he fought in the trenches of World War I.

By World War II, we actually see him in one of the most momentous battles, the D-Day invasion. He also participates in the invasion of Japan but at some point he becomes a prisoner of war. This is the first time we know he lost a battle with real consequences. As a result of this, he ends up getting nuked and surviving. Keep in mind, he did not have his adamantium skeleton yet, so he survived a nuke with his raw abilities.

He also fought in Vietnam. Unfortunately for him, his brother lost his mind and got them arrested and sentenced for deletion. Even though they survived the attempt, it shows an army can take them down.

Hit by a cannonball, nuked, arrested, and called a traitor. Poor Wolverine.

In his origin comic, which explained how his powers manifested, he lived in a town in America growing up.

I never understood why he served in the American Military in conflicts which the Canadian military was not only a participant but closely allied with the US

Another video we didn't need. No one needs a breakdown when it's literally laid out right in front of you and all you have to do is pay attention and watch the movie.

His VA pension must be insane.
"How long have you served sir? And I will need your DD214s."
*Shows four different DD214s, one from 1865*
*She's in shock* "Alright sir, with a Century of Service you qualify for a 500% pension at the rank of E6. Have a good day sir"

Wolverine is better without Adamantium.
He becomes unstoppable as he ages.
