This scene had NO business being this good

I can't be the only one who genuinely likes the idea of them being brothers. It gives a reasonable explanation to their similar abilites and instincts while adding a certain dynamic to their rivalry.

Imagine having 200 years and 10 wars worth of ptsd… no wonder whiskey is their choice of drink lol.

I noticed Logan never used his claws during the wars. Only Victor. He was never afraid to show his mutant side

I love how you see the growing rift between the brothers as the get older. During the Civil War, Victor seems genuinely concerned when Logan gets hit. But by the time the get to Vietnam, Victor is essentially oblivious to everyone he’s fighting alongside and only embraces warfare for the bloodshed.

It makes sense seeing Victor concerned for Logan's life in the Civil War. It was probably the first time their regeneration from fatal wounds was actually tested.

I think what a lot of ppl miss is that it took like 100 years for victor to become as ruthless as he did. Logan was initially more aggressive than him and then they both made an inverse change over time.

Imagine being a German soldier on Omaha and you see one of the American soldiers coming at you full speed with no weapon on all fours. What can you do at that point?

They left their home as children in 1845.
They fought in the American Civil War in 1861 through 1865.
Then decades later, they fought in WWI in 1914 through 1918.
25 years later, they were recruited into the Howling Commandos by Captain America himself to serve in WWII and they were last seen in action at D-Day in 1944. One of them was captured by the Japanese and wasn’t found in 1945.
They’ve been in hiding since 1962 all the way to 1972.
They didn’t resurface until 1973 and fought in the Vietnam War.

If the rumors about there being a Disney + series of Wolverine going through history in wars and hiding in and out, then I’d say I’m all in for it.

I like how this shows Victor gradually becoming more and more savage with each war and unleashing his animal side while Logan’s trying to keep his cool.

"wake me when it's over" probably the best, and most badass lines one could say before getting executed 💯🔥🔥

One of the best opening scenes in any movie

The movie should be about wolverine in civil war, ww1, and ww2 how USA used mutants to win the war. That's should be epic

This should have been like 80 percent of it's runtime

Wolvie and Sabertooth being blood brothers is the best retcon could’ve been as a canon story and this movie proves it.

This montage should have been a full length movie.

Imagine how badass it would have been watching Wolverine fight through different wars all the way to present day ending up in a fighting ring in Canada in X-Men (2000).

0:22 Victor genuinely cares about Logan’s safety

Now just imagine if Captain America made a cameo.

Now that's how you start a movie!
This is still one of my favorite moments in any superhero movie. Yeah, I just said that.

Friggin' love this version of Sabretooth! Still a Wolverine fan, but Sabretooth is just at peace with what he is. No bs inner conflict!
