How to Brush Your Teeth

I am 19 years old, and now I finally know how to properly brush my teeth.

This is very important honestly… jeez as a kid everyone assumed you know how to brush your teeth.
I’m 21 and I legit damaged my gums because instead of brushing my teeth in a circle motion I brushed it side ways, which made my gums go upwards and exposing the sensitive part of my teeth/gums
Don’t worry I went to my dentist, said it’s normal but should brush circle motion or up and down and to use soft brush (I used medium)

well this didn't age well... LOL yes the properly brushing is correct but DO NOT RINSE YOUR MOUTH!! when you are finished brushing your teeth spit out the toothpaste, scrap your tongue including the top layer with tap water for each use and wait for 30 minutes to use mouthwash. More information below. you are more than welcome to correct me if I am wrong.

Morning Routine:
Drink a cup of water
Wait 30 minutes
Brush for 3 minutes for better results or 2 minutes, a little longer is fine just make sure you finish up when the time is up.
Use tap water to scrap your tongue including the top layer than spit it out after each use
Spit out toothpaste as much as possible, Do not rinse with water after this is so the Fluoride can sit in and fight bad bugs.
Wait 30 minutes to use Mouthwash, if you're not using Fluoride toothpaste 20 minutes.
1 minutes mouthwash
Wait 30 minutes.

Night Routine:
Floss after you're finished eating your meal make sure you floss properly and get deep inside you gums between the teeths.
Swish with water after finishing up flossing and spit it out.
Drink Water to stay hydrated
Wait for 1 hour.
Brush your teeth for 3 minutes
Spit out the tooth paste as much as possible
Use tap water in between scrubbing your tongue and scrub the top of your tongue than spit it out.
Wait for 30 minutes for Mouthwash
1 minute for Mouthwash.

Now you're ready go to to bed. <3 Highly suggest to speak with your dentist about what toothpaste and mouthwash works best for you!

You're not supposed to rinse your mouth with water because that removes the fluoride.

It's better to brush your teeth then your tongue then wash with water, after that clean the toothbrush and brush let the toothpaste sit on your teeth
