In this clip, Neil deGrasse Tyson continued to offer his thoughts on aliens and speculated about why extra terrestrials would even be interested in observing planet Earth and its inhabitants in the first place. He also questioned why aliens would be interested in observing an inferior species, pointing out that aliens would have to be far more advanced than humans to travel the galaxy and make it to Earth.

Valid point Dr Tyson made. An advanced alien species wouldn't travel thousands of light years, only to be scared of humans, and limit their visibility. It seems the Aliens will never turn up in our lifetime, and it will remain a mystery that we will never have the answer to. But, for entertainment, it's always cool to talk about the aliens👽

Like some of the spaceships ppl have allegedly seen can move so fast that if it was even half the speed a human would’ve died instantly just from the force. Maybe they’re so advanced that even our best stuff is centuries behind theirs.

Neil states thst there is a subset unit of scientists who finds algae interesting. If aliens overall finds us uninteresting, im sure there is a "subset unit" of aliens that mabe curious. If not us, maybe our animal species, or Earth itself. You also have to remember that there are more planets in all of space then there are grains of sand on all of our beaches. We are but just a grain in this vast universe.
