For those that missed this part like I did, and don't see the witch pop up... Just go to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable > Purchase > buy the Spirit Bell for 100 runes. I have no idea how I missed this but I did and was like WTF why can't I summon lol

Keep in mind that Ranni (Renna) will only spawn by the merchant if you haven’t visited the round table before. If you do. She won’t spawn there anymore and you have to buy the spirit bell from the round table hold. You also won’t get the wolf summons for free at the start

For those still struggling to get the witch to appear: The catch is that you have to visit the point of grace at the church then walk away a bit then fast travel back to the church. Kind of convoluted but once you fast travel back thats how you get the witch to appear. Very specific but that seems to be the real condition. Just make sure you use all your runes prior

FOR ANYONE WHO CAN'T SUMMON: Each spirit has a required FP level. If your max FP isn't high enough, you won't be able to summon the spirit. For example, my dex character has a max FP of 77. The best spirit I can summon right now is "Marionette Soldier" who requires 67 FP to summon. Hope this helps.

Thanks the fact that you are one of the few who mention that little symbol was key! Everyone else seems to take that little piece of info for granted and not mention it in their explanations. Beforehand I thought you could just summon them like pets to use whenever.

In case you miss her, you can also just buy a spirit bell from the vendor in Roundtable Hold, I've been using spirits, and I've never met this lady.

what is curious is that if you decided to ignore Lady cute Witch, she will eventually disappear and it don't seem that she ll re-appear at the Church of Elleh
where you see her for the first time (aside the intro cut scene)
