🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

man as an American I love Iranian food, I remember when I was kind of homeless for a while in South Korea, I had a friend there from Iran because his parents were refugees at that time before they became South Korean Citizens and I would used to stay at this friends house, his mom would wake up early everyday and just cook, it was some of the best food ive ever ate, this brought so much memories back

I'm so glad you visited Iran. I got pretty emotional watching this video and cried a few times haha. As an Iranian living abroad ai always try to explain to people that Iran is a safe country with loving people! I guess a video like this is more powerful than 100 words huh!
Thank you for trusting Iran ❤️

As a nurse I worked with one of the most beautiful Iranian ladies for years. Her kindness was top grade. She had a passion for any human being and knew that every patient she touched would be better from her teaching and care. She knew we are all humans and had no discrepancies on color, race, or, nationality.

In a world where the media attempts to set countries and people against each other, this was an inspiring and refreshing view of Iran, Iranians and it’s food…it’s made me want to visit! 🇬🇧 ❤ 🇮🇷

I really hope one day I can visit Iran. Forget my government and their government . I hear Iran has the kindest, warm people. I would love to get to know them. Blessings from America. We do not hate you. Don’t listen to news.

As someone who grew up in the Middle East, it’s very refreshing to see content that shows the beautiful, friendly, and hospitable nature of the amazing people that reside there. The culture is rich and storied, the food is fantastic. Can’t wait to visit there again one day.

I'm convinced that Iran has some of the prettiest people to go with some of the best food on the planet. Parnian looks like a Disney princess.

I can't believe that I have just finished watching 2.15 hour's straight.
It's the people who makes the culture beautiful. Media is lying with us. This is the best video I have watched from your channel so far. ❤❤

It is so good to see this video. My daughter's life was saved by Iranian American doctor when she was born premature. Without him, she would not be with us today. It was interesting to see him and his assistant talking in Farsi while delivering my baby. People are not their government. I had an Iranian college friend in California. She was so nice.

After watching the Egypt video, it's night and day how the culture is different. Despite the US having heavy sanctions on Iran, they still treat Americans with so much hospitality. Much respect and love.

Amazing how many beautiful people Iran has, it is like they are not even trying! What's more beautiful is the culture and food, and how nice and friendly the people are.

I LOVE this episode!! Iranian ppl are some of the kindest and most loving, open ppl on earth! They love sharing their history, which is the oldest in the world, and their culture...which is NOT their government!!! It is a BEAUTIFUL culture that I've had the pleasure to have gotten to know first hand through several friends of mine! I feel so blessed to have been included and let in to their homes and welcomed with open arms! Treated truly like family!!!!

I love this episode. I feel educated and feel like more people need to see this side of different countries. No politics just people, culture, food and a beautiful presentation that shows Éronians and their amazing culture 👏

Having traveled to Iran three times in the last five years after retirement (and ending up staying much longer than planned on each trip lol) I cannot add a whole heck of a lot to what's been said already by countless others here. Except noticing how clean they and their cities are compared to other countries of the region... especially after watching the Cairo video! The subway in Tehran simply stands out. Iran definitely deserves another video (or two) considering that some of its prettiest regions and cities were skipped altogether. Don't blame Sonny at all... there are just soooo many cities and subcultures there. It's like dozens of countries and cultures merged into one 😍🥰🤤
Excellent work Sonny... I can see Bourdain smiling.
