Where to buy land for $2000 in Ghana/cheap lands in Ghana and locations

Buying land in Ghana, land ownership in Ghana I realized many people complain about the prices of land in Ghana. Some people can’t stand the fact that land in Ghana has become so expensive just within the last 3 years. So I did a few research to find out why can’t people find land prices within their budget because I definitely know there are lots of cheaper lands in Ghana. The question is why can’t people find those cheap lands and this is what I discovered, I realized anyone who complains about the cost of land in Ghana was definitely looking for land just in Accra or a high profile area with higher demands and there is nothing wrong with that But why can’t people give themselves the option to look outside the capital city because Ghana is not just about Accra .the truth is Ghana has about 16 regions now and there are many land opportunities to be discovered outside the capital city .

Now The first location to look into is capecoast or the central part of Ghana. Capecoast is just 2 hrs drive from Accra and it’s the central part of Ghana with a population of only 170,000 people. In fact about 50% of the land in the central region is unused therefore there are enough lands on that side of Ghana to buy . The average cost of land in capecoast is around 1200$-2000$ .To me The future of capecoast looks brighter than Accra because all the tourists attractions and green lands can be found in capecoast . I believe if you buy a land now in capecoast you will not regret it in the future and the nature view of capecoast makes life more peaceful as well.So if you are the type looking to escape the busy life and noisy atmosphere of the city then Capecoast is a great place for you to look into ..

The second location outside Accra worth buying land from is The western part of Ghana. Their main city is called Takoradi and their population is around 500,000 . This place is more like a an industrial city because there are a lots of foreign and local industries over there with a strong agricultural market. Takoradi is still underrated because it seems everyone wants to move to Accra therefore leaving the land market over there very less expensive. You can also purchase a land at this location for as low as 2000$-2500$ ..

Kumasi is the next location that you can buy your land from. In fact kumasi is the second busiest and largest city in Ghana so living in kumasi is like living in a Ghana second capital city . Kumasi is the capital city of the Ashanti region of Ghana. This side of Ghana is very rich in history and culture of the Asante people and there are so many small cities and towns in this region that have affordable land . You can even get a good land in the big towns for an average price of 1500$-2000$ .. kumasi has an internal or local airport which means if you don’t want to drive 4 to 5 hrs to Accra then you can always take a flight ️ if you need to which is less than 80$ for a round trip .
So the last location that you can get affordable land to buy is Accra or the capital city . Yes this is for people who are still interested in just Accra or the capital city because they are still not convinced about buying lands outside the capital city therefore I will be sharing some few locations in the capital region
that have cheaper land within 1000$-2000$ . Even though they say land in Accra or the capital city is expensive remember there are many towns in the capital city and the more you look at lands from less busy towns the cheaper they become..
So you can find land for a very low price in towns like Kasoa , dodowa, oyarifa , amasaman and pokuase . All these locations are smaller towns in the capital city and they are only 25-40 minutes drive from the main city . the average land cost at these locations are still within 2000$ .. so if you are still interested in just Accra and don’t want any location outside the capital city then look at these locations in the city for a land ..

Can you do an update video on this subject? If possible can you focus on the areas outside of Accra? Many of us don't mind being an hour away from Accra where the land is less but great for planting crops and building a home. Thanks.

This gives a very clear and concise comparison for my future needs. Brother your info is on point! I was just comparing Uganda to Ghana for land and housing opportunities. It's not easy to leave USA now but when Covid-19 is subsidizing I'd like to visit. I will consult you as my business plan evolves." Never let the evildoers over throw you, just let Blessings overflow through you" 🌐♥️⚖

Sometimes isn't about people preferring Acra city but more about luck of knowledge like me, I born in Angola 🇦🇴 but I live in Europe since young age, and I never been in Ghana 🇬🇭 before, but because of the videos I watch on YouTube about Ghana, it's making me want to live in Ghana, but must the videos only talks more about the capital city in Ghana, but your video brings more awareness to us in thinking 🤔 Ahhh OK and would be nice if you could show us a bit of this other's parts of Ghana, I personally don't mind be 2 to 4 hours away from the capital city. But well done for this awareness video and we need more videos like this so we can make a better choices. Thank you

I love love love you videos. I’m looking more into Ghana because everyone can’t move to Gambia lol there’s other places besides Accra. Ghana is much bigger than Gambia. I can’t wait to visit both places to choose. I have teens so I want them to be within an hour of a major city.

Thanks for the info my friend. I've lived in Ghana off and on for about 5 years and ever since about 2016 when one mentions buying land in Cape Coast the answer from those who really don't know is. There is no more land availble in Cape for sale, which i know not to be true. Thanks for re-inforcing the point. Also Kumasi. Wow How about Sunyani?

I live in the Akuapem mountains in the Eastern Region of Ghana. It is 1500 feet above sea level, very green and we have hardly any mosquitos (which is a definite plus). I agree that land prices have shot up over the last few years. They are getting ridiculously high. I myself have some land to sell in the mountains, which has risen to $11, 000 a plot.
When I bought my first land in the mountains it was at a time when nobody from Accra would visit the mountains, which was seen as and was a village. People only knew of Aburi Gardens. At that time land was in the hundreds of dollars rather than the thousands it is now. Over the last few years, there has been a major influx of people wanting to own a second home there. The mountains are scenic, the area is considered semi rural and very peaceful. I love it!

Awesome video!! New subscriber here. This is another superb piece of content and extremely informative. Thanks a lot for sharing this information with us. I always knew that many other regions outside of Accra are much cheaper. Most people who think about moving to Ghana want to live in Accra. They have to understand that the greater Accra region especially around Kotoka Airport, Independence Square, The National Theater, East Legon etc are extremely expensive. Those places are like living in mid town Manhattan in New York City. But Ghana is not just Accra just like Nigeria is more than just Lagos. There are many great places off the beaten path that are great investment opportunities. And I just want to thank you for your time and research.

Thanks again for an amazing video. I just want to say, I am soo..ooo not a City person. I love the rural or suburbs. I love what I have seen of some villages off the grid but to maybe visit & convalescing from time to time. For me, reconnecting with nature and the wild speak to me.
Thanks again because this is absolutely affordable. Now....if you could do another on low lying areas, areas that is swampy during the Monsoon season. Areas that are hottest during dry season. The demographics here in US, some places are flood zone. Some areas are hurricane zones. Some places are highly tornado zones. Some hurricane prone.
Also I am not seeing foothills or mountain ranges. Is all the coast flat lands.

I do realize I will need to see it in both Seasons myself. And evenso at the prices I can always choose to build up higher on block piers. But I am not complaining. I am sure with God's help it will all workout.
Have a blest night. Peace
