Went to an all Italy tour for the last two weeks of December and first week of January… Hardly any crowds and there were so many festivals. Best time to go imo

From an ex local - Venice is best in November, especially during the week. Hardly any people around, not smelly and not too cold. May, June and September are still the high season.

February is great, i walked into the Vatican museum with no line. Flights and hotels were inexpensive.

Are the crowds in June a lot different than July and August?

Can sb tell me, does it rain often in february? Lots of cloudy days? It's not the vibe I'm going for, I want summer, but I think I might have to choose it

No best time. There's too many pick-pockets, Young, old, men, and young ladies. Police cant jail them if money stolen is not too big.😮😮😮
