When in Rome…

We loved our stay at the @sonderstays in Montevecchio. With only 48 hours in Rome, it was super easy to get around, see everything we wanted to, and we were right next to some of the restaurants I really wanted to try while in Rome. If you’re planning a trip to Italy or anywhere else, I highly recommend checking out @sonderstays for #abetterwaytostay

If in Rome, don’t expect to get good food in the centre it’s a tourist trap.

Here are a few top places I visited:

1. Pizzeria da Remo (best Roman style pizza, thin and super cheap)
2. Osteria Da Fortunata (shown in this video, best carbonara and tiramisu)
3. Pizzeria Bonci (Bonci is a famous Roman pizza chef and this pizzeria specialises in pizza en teglia and deep fried pasta arancini balls)

Those fountains are easily the best part of Rome, no joke. The water is very clean and always cold, so it's always refreshing.

As a Roman good tips, also go visit Giardino degli aranci which is a small park next to Gianicolo ( a beautiful open air terrace where you can see Rome from above ) the park has huge bronze doors with a large key hole that if you look through it, you can see the dome of St. Peter right in the middle

Always walk back from dinner! It helps with digestion and helps with being bloated.😊

‘Rome is super compact’... maybe you meant that the tourist centre is compact.... Rome has 12 times the surface area of Paris :)

The hotel I booked was just around the corner from Termini. My goodness it was so hectic. I walked everywhere. I never took the bus. I used the the train once or twice. In one day I completed 19km, about 26k steps

This is basically us last year, we stayed in Trastevere, which is highly recommended! Have to be honest that I’m not the biggest fan of Rome though, would recommend going to less touristy cities like Milan (as well) and/or any rural areas.

How we can know you are real one, Mr. Chef JD?

Once in a video about 5 classic recipes of Italian pasta you've mentioned that Amatriciana is your favorite. And now you still acknowledge it!

No dumb cloth driven sh*t like: THIZ IZ ZA BEEEST THING I ATE IN MY LIFE, I WILL EAT ZIS TILL I DIE.

Thank you for being yourself in the media space ❤

I was there 7 years ago and I still think about the tiramisu from Pompi. I want it to be my last meal, it's so good. 🤤 Everyone should go there! / not sponsored

My teen will be in Rome next summer, but she has a nut allergy. Are the restaurants relatively friendly and accommodating with nut free dishes?
