all my dogs have been outside dogs that had a dog house for during the day and i would put them in my garage at night to keep them safe from other animals like porcupines,
with my last dog, when i came home from work i would have to play with him for a few minutes with a rope we use to play tag with before i could go into the house.
i used to do a lot of stuff in my garage at night and i would take a coffee for me and one for my dog so he wouldnt mooch mine, lol, also i had a wood stove in there so i would get the garage cozy for him when i went into the house and i had a dog house in the garage for him also. living an apartment now i would not bring a dog into here but when i am able to get a house and property i would get me another big dog because i have had such good relationships with them over the years.

I think all of us should pay more attention to animals, their nature is a lot like ours. They're smart and loving. Also, we need to pay more attention to children. They are smart and innocent, and almost always tell the truth. Remember, a child shall lead us.

We recently adopted a new pup. A one year old beagle. We currently have a 5 year old beagle hound who is very well behaved. Ginger, our 1 year old, is good for the most part, but is still a puppy. She knows to go outside to do her business, but every time she is left alone in the house (even for short periods of time) she will go in the house. At first I thought it was an accident, but I’ve noticed the pattern of it always being when left alone. I am not sure how to handle this. We could certainly go back to the crate, but would rather not. We would like to have her be free like our older pup. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 😊
