Can you do a series on helping dogs be neutral?? I know it’s connected to my leadership but how does one progress from the neighborhood to a dog filled street?? Or is that sometimes too much to ask of them?

I feel fortunate in that all of my Labs, Goldens, and Rottweilers over the last 50+ years have been totally cool with other dogs. If, on a rare occasion, they’ve met an aggressive dog their response has been to walk away or roll onto their backs.

And how do you make them neutral? Need some tips on that. Got a malinois pup, 10 weeks old and already growling at other dogs, doesn't let me pet other dogs because he goes crazy( not with all but some)

My dog will bark and lunge at other dogs all the time, a lot of the time I think it's a "hey I want to meet you" but other times it's like a "I wanna bite your face off." There's one house we go by that has two dogs that bark at us and she'd bark back, lately she hasn't been barking at them, don't know why. The other day as we went by they got out and came to us barking and she just stood there, not scared, not barking, basically being a good dog as far as I could tell and I'm like "why can't you do this all the time?? What's different right now?"

Do you have any tips on small dogs? I have a yorkie poo (Yorkshire terrier and poodle mix) and when we take her out for walks she’ll bark at any living thing and sometimes she’ll snap at things. I’d really appreciate anything you have to help. She is 100% not neutral

YES. My dog doesnt like dogs but will not chase other dogs. I NEVER let other dogs near my dog. No matter how much the other person says their dog is friendly.

I need help with my chihuahua mix I think he is rat terrier and he reacts to every dog he sees in a manner where it’s like someone switched on kill mode and I’m not exaggerating 1 bit I have to get him out of sight or he will still be barking and trying to chase me down a block away it’s nutts he is a rescue 3-5 years old and his name is buster cuz he is a major ball buster and has more energy than any dog I ever seen in my life

Issues he’s still a bit impulsive and can go towards other dogs
I’m a still working on it
