My dog is very calm at home but gets extremly aggressive towards other dogs and it’s very embarrassing. She’s a rescue dog and I got her when she was 1 year old and was already like that, I’ve tried everything.

That Shepherd is the real MVP. It's not stupid, it still watches every move, but it has serious trust in the handler to control the situation even when being charged by the dog in training. Impressive.

I absolutely love that you are taking the time to correct the dog. I know so many trainers that refuse to use punishment or pressure. The result is a dog that knows what commands are, but can choose to ignore them. I've seen so many good dogs  given up or abandoned because the owner doesn't understand what they are doing wrong. Dog training is just for dogs; we, as humans, need to understand that dogs are a reflection of us and our as our children are a reflection of our parenting.

My new dog Rena is incredibly reactive, and at one point she actually did manage to break free and attack my friend's Basil wasn't hurt, there was no blood, but God I was so ashamed that I didn't have proper control over Rena....
I know it's reactivity and not flat out aggression, because she did warm up to my other dog with a slow and proper introduction. Ludo and Rena are the best of friends.
Here's to training hard and dedicating hours to making her a better, civil, and relaxed dog.

Thanks for these videos! I have had great progress with some things implemented from you and from Larry Krohn. My boy is reactive but could not be anywhere near another dog. As soon as he saw him it was over. I started implementing leash pressure and did some flashy heel work things I saw from Larry and just started with obedience and yesterday we were able to walk with a small yorkie in sight that was barking aggressively at Saxon (my Shepherd) and not a peep! He performed commands and took treats like a champ. It was our first big win.

I have the same problem, but my dog is not interested in treats when on leash. He just sniffs it and move on. I tried with toys also and nothing

Wow, Tom! Amazing progression in just a weeks time! Kudos to you and your staff. I cannot get my Benny that close to a dog without him trying to lunge and growl. And food will only distract him for a second. I have much work still to do.

Omg, I am so lucky to find your channel. Thank you so much for sharing this absolutely practical and informative video. I am mother of two dog kids. My 1yr old ( hound mix) is a nightmare to introduce to other dogs. Now I can understand and train both of us. Mainly myself to give him the confidence to stay calm . Thank you so much. I have a rescue husky who I thought was just super excited when he saw other dog. He was so bad on a leash I swear he was never taken on a walk.. I will definitely try this because don't want to avoid other dogs. Wish I could afford you. My youngest had a behavioral therapist when he was little . You are just like that for dogs.
