Tip for the shower - Stand outside of it and stick your hand in to test the water before you get in lol

The plastic bag holder was awesome!  I've done something similar with toilet paper.  Basically you stuff a toilet paper roll into a container that is close to the same diameter as the roll (the IKEA metal cylindrical containers work well but I've also used the plastic containers that holds nuts).  Then you maneuver the cardboard roll out and pull out the toilet paper from the center. What you have is a toilet paper roll dispenser!  As a teacher, I brought this to class because I refused to buy tissue paper for my students-- I never got to use tissues as a kid so why would my students get to?  :)  Anyway, they loved it and never again was I interrupted during class for tissues or the need to get toilet paper from the bathroom!  Anyway, hope to see more lifehacks!
