As someone who has worked with wood let me tell you. If you grab a random piece of wood off the floor, chances are, the wood is not straight.

I mean you have a 8 foot board that is only supported at the ends. You have weight directly in the middle, gravity will eventually come into play, and the board will curve. Just get a strong support leg, or another two drawers that are spaced out enough for your legs to fit comfortably under the desk.

Life hack.. use a string, tape measure.. anything and measure top to floor.. youll notice the variations of height..
