I use those exact drawers. Highly recommend. I used a sheet of plywood and vinyl wrapped it for the desktop. Turned out astonishing

I got the 2 metre by 60 centimetres table top and replaced the drawers on one side with a cabinet from ikea, im an architecture student so i needed a big desk on a tight budget. LET ME TELL Y ALL THIS IS THE BEST DESK YOU CAN GET FOR YOUR BUCK!!!! Its cheap, very resilient (i rearrange my bedroom furniture every 6 months or once a year (professional quirk i guess lol), lots of storage and very customisable since you have loads of top colors to choose from as well as drawer/cabinets color(you can be funky with ikea and maybe even mix with some other model of drawers/cabinets).

I use this exact desk but the top was black and I found a desk with only 3 legs so me and my dad took off the other leg where the mising was one was used the one of the drawers to hold it up and it fits perfectly.

Note: Linnmon table tops are not that sturdy, they're made with particle board, prone to bending. I've had one in the past.

Clean setup. But go with the Karlby countertop instead (solid wood - no particle fillings - **EDIT: Has particle fillings but laid out in a different pattern) - it'll help against sagging. I have had 3 CRTs on the 98x1 1/2 for the past 2.6 years, so far so good.

Had this table for about 2 years and it’s now coming apart, like the honeycomb material is starting to lose it’s strength and dents in the table are now noticeable but it was good while it lasted.
