Even though Billy comes back to life later, his sacrifice was truly heroic

Billy had no reason to believe he could be resurrected yet he sacrificed himself willingly. He truly was both pure of heart and worthy, to wield his powers.

Billy knew he had to try and make the ultimate sacrifice. Even if it means to end his life to save the day. If only the Justice League saw that, and offer him a place on the team. Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg to train him, Batman to teach him to be smart in a fight, and Flash to teach him to case environments.

Honestly, I thought Kalypso's death was kind of poetic.

She planted the Tree in the realm of mortals out of vanity, the wizard's staff was made from the tree, and by Billy destroying both her and the tree with the staff, that basically means she was brought down by the symbol of her power as well as her father.

I could be wrong in my analysis, but that's just how I see it.
