Sandberg (“Shazam!,” “Annabelle: Creation”) and produced by Peter Safran (“Aquaman,” “The Suicide Squad”). It is written by Henry Gayden (“Shazam!,” “There’s Someone Inside Your House”) and Chris Morgan (“Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” “The Fate of the Furious”), based on characters from DC;Shazam! was created by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck. Executive producers are Walter Hamada, Adam Schlagman, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Marcus Viscidi and Geoff Johns. What I loved about the first movie was that it was a kid getting powers and having fun type of movie, this movie looks like he’s going to deal with his powers emotionally and still have fun, and I’m all for it

I've seen a lot of trailers these days with this whole "everything is a joke and nothing matters tone", but this one has a humorous tone while still feeling like the movie takes itself seriously and the threat is real. It also helps that the property actually leans itself to be lighter, which also makes it work.

This is the first light trailer I've seen that actually makes me want to see the movie. Bring it on.

I was never really a fan of Shazam but after the first movie, I started reading the comics again and he is actually quite a dope character, you forget he's just a kid in the comics. This movie has my full attention, great actors in every scene it would seem.

Feels like a natural progression from the last movie. From being reluctant to accept his new family to now fearing that their newfound independence is gonna make them drift apart

And I love that Mary is the only one that looks the same in her Shazam form. She's the only one of the siblings who already reached adulthood so it made sense that she'd look the same
