Lucy Liu was given such a cool superpower and it's only used three times in this whole damn movie and two of those times she uses it on one person. If they really wanted Earth to destroy itself all they had to do was whisper into a couple of major warhead's ear and they would have gotten this job done real easy. They could have also used it in the Shazam family to make it sort of a big problem for them I mean it's basically a pandemic with hypnosis and they never build upon that. Now sure, you can make the argument that the Shazam family are not affected by her powers or at least that specific power but again they could have easily had used it on other people as well to create a much more bigger catastrophe. It's one of the major plot holes in this film that made me really have a hard time enjoying the movie or at the very least get with their motivation that's a shame because it's a really great and dark opening scene.
