Thank you! Although, I have a different type of faucet handle that I don't know how to screw off. I think it's a Kohler. I am going to try to see how else I can take it off.

Perfect. Short and to the point and very clear explanation. Are the parts easy to identify and get from the hardware store like Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace Hardware as well as the tool?

Thank you for the video. I’m experiencing this situation in my home right now. Is there cartridges, say in a bathroom or kitchen faucet? I turned on the faucet in my stationery tub after not having used it in months and months, so I’m guessing that’s my problem area. Do I just buy a new faucet or is there a cartridge that I need to replace. I’m a female senior citizen so if you can talk to me like a 5th grader, that would be much appreciated. :)

GREAT Video.. Quick Question... I've experienced this and a couple days later we heard rushing water and 3 plumbers determined we had a leak somewhere and wanted to start cutting drywall and ripping up concrete.... WITHOUT doing any diagnostics to pinpoint a leak. MY QUESTION IS:
could this reverse back flow be causing water to somehow drain back into the system and somehow into the main Exit pipe?
I just find it unreal to accept that they coincidentally happened within 24 hours of each other.
I know you're not a licensed plumber but you seem like a smart guy
Taking a shot here...
Thanks!

I am facing this issue- we are renovating the bathrooms, the constructors put new valve for the two bathrooms and the day after that we noticed kitchen cold tab is having warm/hot water. The constructors stated that he didn’t touch kitchen so it’s not his issue; but this only happened after he put on new valves for the new bathrooms, not they are still at demo stage, I don’t know how to find which valve is causing the issue

Installed a new 40gal tank gas tank water heater but we only get 5 min of hot water before all the water in the house goes completely cold! Would a failed cartridge be the issue or a different plumbing problem? We checked the burner is working fine and the gas pressure which is 7.5

ok I have this not having fully cold water problem in 2 shower faucet and 1 sink faucet. In one bathroom both tub faucet and sink faucet has this problem. However, sink faucet is almost near cold but the tub faucet has warmer water than the sink faucet water. In the other bathroom only the shower faucet has this problem but not the sink faucet. This problem started to happen few weeks back. Could it be an issue with water heater having too much pressure or cold water doesn't have enough pressure?

I can’t get the cartridge out. Is there any secret to using the removal tool? Would it help to use WD40?

So my water in shower works but the water does not get cold meaning the cartridge is the problem even though I just got it replaced a couple months ago?

3 min and 55 seconds, for a 30 second fix. Stik to the point, people appreciate that.
