Hey man quick note You're going to want to change your vacuum lines to go to the front of the turbo because you're basically going to be pressurizing your block with those vacuum lines because they're no longer pulling a vacuum you're actually pushing pressure into the intake manifold it's just something you missed hopefully you're able to read this I see you have like a thousand comments.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the little edits Max sprinkles in here and there are always well timed, funny, and appreciated. Thank you both!

I could hardly care less about a turbo Wrangler, but your narration and natural enthusiasm makes all your videos so worth watching.

You need to change that flex pipe to a actual turbo flex pipe because the back pressure from the turbo will make that flexpipe stretch out an blow out if it's on the pressurized side of the exhaust. Vibrant performance sells them if you're interested

I can testify to the 4.0 reliability. My first vehicle was a 1998 jeep Cherokee 4.0. Bought it with a 4 inch lift and 33s so I assumed it was previously beat before I got it. I was only 15 when I bought it and I didn’t know as much as I do now. When I bought it, it had about 10 pounds of oil pressure and didn’t increase with rpm. Dad said it was just a gauge 😂. Put a mechanical gauge on it and it was accurate. Thru my ownership of about 8 months and 20k miles of low oil pressure and constant off-road thrashing, it finally started to die just shy of 180k

I've been running a turbo on my 2.5 Wrangler for over a year. 7psi boost. No problem. I added an electric fan as well to make more room.

I plan on putting a blower on my jeep once the warranty is breeched. I have a 20th anniversary Jeep 392 Rubicon... Unless you wanna sponsor and build it for content now haha! Love the TJ (Turbo Jeep)! Jeeps don't ride great, but I love em, and they will win your heart once you find a group of folks that like to go out and explore the wilderness in em!

I do not know if you ever heard the expression “shade tree mechanic” but what you are doing is exactly that. I am 81 and you are taking me back to being a teenager. Thanks so much.

Nice, I've turbocharged two Jeep 4.0L. The fastest one ran 12.9 in the quarter.

I had a roommate in college who put a 3.8L turbo v-6 from a Buick Regal into a 1967 Kaiser Jeep (Kaiser was after Willy's and before AMC).

We were at college in a small town in New Mexico, so it was perfect for the area. The Kaiser-Jeep version of the engine was available in some Jeeps in 1967 and was similar in size and bolt placement with not too much modification.

Paul (the Jeep's owner) had the experience to do the job, and his Dad ran a truck customization business in Hammond IN. They would take a truck chassis and install a cherry pick, make it like a power wagon, whatever the client wanted.
