Withholding intimacy is emotional ab*se. I could see if it was something medical related like recovering from major surgery. But to willfully withhold it because you’re not getting your way or just don’t feel like it is unfair. That’s why communication is key. These things need to be discussed as non negotiable during the dating phase.

This is so damn true. My ex was the first woman that ever with held sex from me & when I dumped her the first thing she said was all u care about is sex 😂. If that was true I would’ve dumped her a month earlier. Men do not tolerate this type of behavior. A woman that does this is not only disrespectful but doesn’t see any value in you.

Not always true and it depends on the situation. The last 10 years of my husband's life was a sexless marriage. But I was understanding. Later on, we found out why. He was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. He had just quit smoking 9 years prior. We found out that he had been sick for most of that time and didn't know it. All the symptoms of the sickness was there, he just ignored it. Even though I suggested many times he go see a doctor. Now he's gone, and I'm still heartbroken. It's been 5 years now and I'm still struggling. But now I'm dealing with even more than just his death. Both of my parents have cancer and are struggling. I'm struggling with that idea as well. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and given two years. My mom, my stepmom, she was just recently diagnosed with lung cancer and the doctor gave her 18 months. And that is with chemo and radiation. So for the next 18 months. It's going to be extremely hard on me losing two more people that I love so dearly. But I'm not going to let them know that yet. I'm going to stay strong. I will only cry behind closed doors. These two people where my saviors. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here right now. I would have probably died at the age of 14. Cuz my biological mom was extremely abusive and neglective.
