i will like to say that your video did help so much on replacement steps. Thank you. You have saved us about $100 of doing the replacement ourselves instead of hiring someone for this.

Great video... You can use clear packing tape over the screen to prevent the glass shards from flying up and it also holds the screen together when removing.

I just want to say thank you! I've had my tablet for almost 6 years and it still works perfectly aside from the screen being cracked. I'd rather not replace the whole iPad I dont have to and I'm so glad I found your video. It's very detailed and informative, and most importantly it makes the job feel much less intimidating. 😅

Much thanks for this excellent tutorial! I especially appreciated the calm, even, positive tone: whenever I felt unsure during the process, the tone of the narration kept me grounded. Another successful iPad repair here!

Best video so far, you spoke thru it and there wasn't any irritating music. Will be attempting this during next trip to work.

This video was an excellent step by step instructional video. Thank you very much for your time and for creating this to help others. I completed this repair yesterday on my son's iPad. God bless!

Great instructional video. I wasn’t sure if I could do this myself so I took my iPad to the Apple Store and they wanted $300. Tried another place they wanted almost as much. I ordered everything I needed from Amazon except the heat gun which I had. So for 10% or $30 I fixed it myself and I’m completely satisfied. Thanks for the instructional video…

I didn’t have the same tools but I improvised and used a dulled razor blade and a heat gun to remove the digitizer. Then a lot of cleaning afterwards but was well worth it ! First time ever doing this and it was a complete success! Almost like having a new tablet! Thank you very much.

Say brother, you are so good. I love the way you explain things I’m 65 years old and I love doing this kind of work

This was very easy to follow, and even though I've finished the repair some time ago, I still find myself going back to these videos anyway, because they make for good background noise / ASMR haha

Excellent video, the only concern I had was figuring out the home button flex cable connection, as I needed to replace mine. I just looked that up separately and had no issues. This was easy to follow, and now my brother's iPad is fixed. Took me about 2 hours and 45 minutes, a lot faster than I expected having never replaced a screen on anything before. It was a choice between $40 and have a working iPad for a few more years, or just don't use it anymore, so I fixed it!

thank you for the informative video!! love how detailed you were and how you explained every step, step by step!! I was very doubtful that i could do it myself thinking it was going to be way to difficult, but your video made 10000% sense to me and made it easier to fix so thank you man, !!!!

Excellent tutorial! Thanks so much. Aside from the process, I am particularly struck by the 100% good sense of every peripheral hint, tip, and observation made. And so clearly expressed./

This video is very useful. I bought a new screen with has a new home button, from Amazon . I decided to keep the new screen's home button. I thought it would be easier. The home button cable is attached to a PULL OUT connector, NOT a LIFT UP connector like the other connectors surrounding it. I assumed wrong, and pulled the delicate female connection off the board. It was hidden behind a black sticker. I tried supergluing it (I don't have a soldering iron or microscope ) but it keeps popping off. The screen works fine, except I've lost the home key function.
