Omg she is so right I failed pharmacology and all of a sudden the questions started getting easier when I practice like 100 questions a day and use multiple resources for example different publishers. Best of luck to you future nurses I start MedSurg two August. Please keep me in your prayers.

That was a really good question. I am a new nurse and being on the floor can be a lot. Trying to assess, give meds, assist with ADL’s, having multiple patients ect. It can be a lot trying to remember everything from school and making sure I’m making the right judgments.

Our teacher are not qualified to write test questions and they come up with the craziest stuff. Sometime they have 2 different answers and they didn’t realize what they wrote. Their answers sometime contradicts what answers I found by taking different tests, so I just feel lost all the time.

i hate practice questions but that’s what i’m doing for my hesi !! reading my saunders then immediately taking questions

Our exams do not match lecture. We had a cardiac test for med surge and the entire class failed badly. The majority of the questions were BLS and EKG scenarios and meds. 🤦🏾

For some reason that question seem to feel like it was rederring to working the med surg floor. Not realky answering exam questions. Its like the person wanted tips to know how ti manage on the floor.
