HOW TO FIX NOT WORKING RADIO | RADIO DOES NOT TURN ON

Hey guys, if you have a radio that does not turn on we will walk you through the procedure that we use. We will show you how to check the radio fuse and what to look for. Also we will show you where there is a hidden radio fuse as well. This will fix most of the problems related to radios. If that does not work you might have bad connection or bad radio. We will have a video on that soon.

In my 2009 Kia Sportage there are two fuses the power of the radio. One is called AV and the other one is called audio in the diagram. I had replaced the audio one but that did not work. But checking The AV one showed it to be blown and replacing it fixed me up. I really appreciate your time. Removing the radio was not the solution man I appreciate you trying

Thanks so much for this - the fuse behind the radio wasn’t blown either but I fiddled with all the connections anyway and got my radio working again 👍👍👍

Brilliant! Thank you for sharing. I've got a 2002 Toyota Tundra SR5 truck and my radio has no power. My mechanic checked the fuse under the wheel and said it was fine. He said it's either the electrical or I need a new radio. I will check to see where exactly the fuse(s) is/are and will pull out my radio and see if I have a fuse in the back and replace it too if need be.

For everyone still having issues:
Try disconnecting and then reconnecting your battery. Sometimes this will reset.

Pretty good video. I wish my car radio unit was that easy to take out. :)

Anyways, I have an 04 Lincoln Town Car. My radio unit is a factory all-in-one radio/navigation/cd changer system that came with certain Town Car models for a few years.

The fuses for this thing are in both locations; There's a fuse for this unit in the fuse box under the dash, and there is also a fuse for it in the fuse box under the hood. There is no fuse in the back of this radio/navigation/cd system.

Because my cd player acts up lately, I try unplugging and then plugging back the fuse in the fuse box under the hood, in order to get the cd player to work again. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't always work.

Do you know why this might be the case?
