Steam Deck Docking Gives You a Full Desktop PC

A Nintendo Switch generally handles docking a little better than Valve's Steam Deck, but the Steam Deck does have one trick the Switch doesn't have. It can be a full desktop gaming PC.

Never really had a docking resolution problem with my deck

So basically for cheaper than a switch 2 you can get a nice handheld gaming console and with a dock, a full on pc

Steam deck / bazzite /steam os does do docking a million times better than windows 11 handles it tho

The reason why the resolution may be “less elegant” than the switch on docking mode is because the steam deck has way better performance. That comparison is apples to oranges

How did you get the steam deck dock to connect to your monitor? I have a gaming TV and I can't get it to connect in desk top mode. It connects in game mode no problem.

the switch has low end hardware from 2012 I'm still surprised people support it
