D&D: How to make Warlocks feel more UNIQUE

Eldritch Blast is a very fun spell to reflavour and draw!

I could reflavor Eldritch Blast as a spoonful of beans, and when I attack enemies, and could shout my catchphrase: EAT YOUR BEANS!

I once made a _gunslinging_ fathomless warlock reject* whose Eldritch Blast was him firing bullets made of highly pressurised salt water from his empty pistol, because HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT A HIGH PRESSURE WATER JET CUTTER CAN DO?!

*(yes, it was loosely based off of CritRole's Fjord, though more-so his mentor Vandran)

I actually gave my Life Cleric Eldritch Blast (through a feat of course). Since he was a Sea Elf I flavored it as water whirling and shaping itself into a long ranged well... BLAST of water shooting out of his hands. Like a very harmful Super Soaker if you will.

Goolock eb with the pulling invo could be a grasping tentacle, fiendish eb could be weirdly colored flames, Celestial eb could be spears of light, there's a billion other ways probably to do it.

I had an air genasi that got his powers from a herald under his father from the plane of air (genie warlock) and I flavored the eldrich blast into a fiercely condensed ball of spinning, shredding air.

For a Warlock that takes Pact of the Blade you could flavor the Eldritch Blast to be a projectile slash of energy from your sword like Ichigo’s Getsuga Tensho from the Bleach Anime.

I would make sure to flavor it as some sort of projectile because EB has disadvantage on rolls if the target is within 5ft. The whip example may make players think they can get away with casting it in melee with no penalty

I think my favorite eldritch blast was a warlock of mine who treated the spell as if she was throwing an energy blade shaped like her pact weapon.

Yes, although it‘ not really so as if reflavoring spells is any gamer Eakins anyways so you can to it with a lot of spells as well to a very big degree (web could be a big easily burnable stationary tentacle monster for example).
