was this meant to be a joke?.... just because a country is neutral doesn't mean it's safe from being occupied.... and fallout will be a massive problem in Europe... i think i'm far safer in rural parts of Australia even without the shelters.... New Zealand would be a reasonable choice, and maybe some parts of deep South America too... but Switzerland? as if we could catch a plane anywhere if WW3 started... you go if you want... i'm happy in my little seaside town with mountains nearby.

I would imagine in the event off ww3 it’s unlikely we can all go there. Might be better off learning to fish, sail, desalinate water. Most you could prepare for but getting a boat before hand might not be as important as finding your wat to a port that has some just sitting round. I feel like just being a little prepared is more doable than a snap flight around the world.

Nowhere is going to 100% safe. Geography could be your best ally.

I would think about the southern part of Chile, maybe to the city of "Punta Arenas". This is a relative large city that lies also very far south and since it will be a shooting fest between the Americans and the Russians, going 'south' seems the best option. Chile is also a pretty peaceful country and I would rather choose that place than South Africa or even New Zealand. South Africa because of the clashes still going on between white and black people (both short minded) and New Zealand is too much an ally of the West that it is not entirely unlike it might receive one or two nuclear warheads coming from Russia.

Switzerland is the worst place to go during and after ww3. The safest place to be are any island south of Peru. Less radiation than any other place on Earth.

South America, specifically the southern cone formed by Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, since neither radiation nor pollution reaches here because the wind currents are different, they are the currents of Antarctica, that is why we have the purer air, not to mention that we do not have political problems, we have food autonomy through livestock, fishing and agriculture, in addition to having gas, copper, lithium and the largest reserves of fresh water in the world.

It's about food, not about the blasts. Fallout in nothern hemisphere will poison soil, water and everything that grows.
Yes, maybe the rich will have enough ammo and food for some years with strict rationing, but i think they wage wars to live in freedom and luxury, which will lessen severely in this case.
