It threw me off a little when the Rev slowed back down after you smudged it. But it makes sense that a Rev loses LoS when smudged

Revenant! They are super slow until they see you and then they are like a machine gun.

Revenant, the footsteps are very spread apart and as soon as it detected you, it sprintted at 80 miles an hour, Rev is slowest when hasn't seen you, and fastest when has seen you

Good old Revenant. Moving like a grandma with a walker when it doesn't know where people are, but as soon as they have a clue, they pull a sword out of their walker and start sprinting towards where they think you are with a speed of a professional marathon runner.
Revenants are funny ghosts. Until you accidentally make them aware of your position, at least.
