OMG I'M 15 AND I LITERALLY READ ALL THOSE BOOKS AS A KID I COULD TELL EVERY STORY FROM HEART

I remember being in elementary and one of my teachers had audio cassettes for all the stories. Used to turn the classroom lights off and listen to them. Some of the greatest memories I'll always remember. It was such a different time back then.

I recognized that photo right away! They had a very unique illustration style! I feel like some of those pictures were more memorable than the stories! Gosh I miss the 90s! Thanks for the stroll down memory lane! 😊

I adapted all these stories so they could be used as district approved reading probes. My students’ reading scores soared! I had to count every letter and use a formula, to grade-level them. I did the I can read ghost and scary stories and, “The Thing at the Foot of the Bed, ” by Maria Leach, too. Time well spent! In these days of teaching to the test, districts forget you have to inspire kids, for them to want to learn.

It was the night before the book fair at school and my mom had no money. I cried myself to sleep because I would have to be at the book fair and unable to buy anything 😢 But my granny showed up in the morning right before school and gave me money! I bought the first book set of all of the first edition books with the money! I’ll never forget the feeling ❤ Love you, Granny!

😮🙏 Missed those 1990s genuine human interactions before the internet & smartphone take over our lives ... It is good & more convenient now we can do many things with the internet & smartphone but missed those more humbler & patient 1990s human interventions! 😮🙏 Thank You So Much for sharing glimpses of those 1990s era ... It is sad that, all unions eventually face their dissolutions in due time & space ... Learning from our past life experiences, best to be good persons & be responsible citizens & to make this world a more safer, healthier, more manageable & happier one in the present so we can look back at 2024 era with more fond memories in the future flash backs! ... 😊🙏🕯🌷🌿🌏✌💜🕊

I still have my copy from when I was a little kid. It was from my first schools book fair, and I was in first grade. My grandfather worked as a janitor there at the time to make a bit of spare money, and he bought it for me as a gift. I loved scary stories and tales as a kid growing up, and it still remains a classic from my childhood. Every time I see something related to that book, it reminds me of my grandpa 😊❤
