It's incredibly concerning how little views these kind of videos have. It tells you alot about why the world is the way it is. Why there is so much division. I didn't learn to drown out my subjective thought and embrace objective thought until my late 20's. 40 now and my decision making has lead to happier life.

Amazing, what I take away from it is most of society is divided over subjective issues and we tend to get sucked into it due to our emotional nature and ties to others.


It is yet again a call to check in not to be so offended when subjective matters are raised because that is merely a matter of someone's personal liking and can be easily made clear with this example.

I like to think of it with a musical chord: the fact that I played a c# minor chord is objective (it’s a set of frequencies oscillating together, which can each be mathematically measured) but the fact that I played a sad” chord or a “dramatic” chord is subjective (because it depends entirely on things like your mood at the time, your music taste, and your life experience leading up to that moment)

It's also the difference between Mathematics and Personal Response. Do portions of Skittles in the container count as a fraction? What if there is only a small chunk of candy coating and none of the soft flavoring? Does that count as a fraction of a Skittle, or does the Skittle have to have some of that soft sweet inside to qualify? (Objective is often more subjective than people like to think.)

Nice video I came to this video because I keep seeing people saying x form of media games, movie, shows ect are objectively bad or whatever they're calling it. Somone stated in a video they made that Megaman 8 was objectively boring which is a false statement nothing can be objectively boring since objectively deals in facts like I can say the sky is objectively blue because it's a fact that it's blue. I can't say something is objectively boring because that's my subjective opinion.

I feel sane again. Just argued with someone who didn't think objective reality exists because you can subjectively alter objective reality. The guy chatted up a storm using clever language. I'm sitting there like bruv you just claimed you controlled objective reality.
