Speaking at the CBI conference in Birmingham, the leader of the opposition said if Labour were to win the next general election, it would not take the UK back into the single market or customs union.

While listening to his speech, I was thinking, if Brexisters are not able to identify even one of the Brexit benefits, what is the purpose of "Making Brexit work"? What for? Isn't it better to start an honest public debate about it (beyond the Brexiters-Remainers divide) without focusing on rejoining the single market?

it can work, so can a car with hexagon wheels, its absolutely not what we want or need, we need to get back in but I understand he's not ready to say that yet, perhaps when we have been in power for a few years, perhaps people might start feeling nostalgic about the EU, thats our best chance to get back in and to fix this.
