The first notebook GPU from nvidia in a long time, which is not extremely trimmed and has the performance of a desktop. Well played Nvidia!

Unlike most GPUs these two are actually the exact same card. Only difference is the power its fed. Pushed to 110+W the laptop card performs the same. BECAUSE IT IS. the 4070 to 90 are completely different to their laptop varient though.

CPU power difference is brutal, 5:43 31w vs 68w

Honestly laptop with 4060 is the most worthy 40 series to buy because you dont need a bigger machine with a slightly different performance

Same graphics card
But laptop version worth more beacuse of portability

Just apply the oc on laptop version from the legion toolkit and the perf will be just the same, the laptop version in this video is on stock clocks while the desktop one is overclocked.

knowing the wattage for 4060 laptop is capped at 100w, this would yield no surprise seeing that a 140w 4060m could match a desktop 4060.
also they both use the same dye so their pretty much the same gpu

13900... Dude, now the rtx 4060 comes with the 12650H in the laptop (And more often with 12450H), so the comparison is not entirely correct

It is a fact that there is a big performance difference since the watts for the 50 and 60 classes are close to the desktop.
does not occur

Well, in fact it's a 4050 Desktop (only tagged as 4060) vs 4060 Laptop, but the fact of the matter is, for those who are planning to build their system from a ground zero — it'd actually be a better choice to go with 4060 Laptop for the price of 4060 Desktop + the rest of the PC build & peripherals, lol. Honestly, wanna see a 4070 Desktop vs Laptop comparison to see if such logic is applicable there 😁

Recently i bought a Gaming Laptop with a RTX 4060 and I'm not happy at all with that, most like is the temps and noise.

But really, yeah that can perform like a Desktop

The laptop is getting more noise and warm than the Desktop....
And I don't know if it's normal that in some areas you feel like your hand is burning, the CPU has actually reached 80-85°C but parts of the keyboard feel very hot, and it's uncomfortable.

That i9 on that laptop needs better cooling, depending on the laptop having a i9 is worst than just having a i7.

biggest difference between the 2 is u can sell teh 4060 out the desktop and buy a 5060 but with the laptop u have to replace the whole thing

Just undervolt and power limit your desktop GPU with afterburner, you will get mobile version consumptions.

buying a desktop system is bullshit. mobility is everything and just get started.

Virtually the same performance, the desktop had a DDR5 6000 while the laptop had a DDR5 4800, plus the desktop GPU was overclocked.

Play on med at 1080p to prevent overheating gpu for long term usage

The pc has 6000mhz ram and the laptop has 4800mhz ram. This explains the difference in fps
