the rtx 4050 has a huge performance uplift compared to last gen 3050, while the 4070 is a huge disappointment, I'd say the middle rtx 4060 is the best laptop gpu right now

I think 4060 is the sweet spot for laptops. 4050 isn't bad but 4060 is a nice upgrade over it. 4070 doesn't improve fps that much. And both 4060 and 4070 laptop variants have same 8gb vram.

Maybe this is the way to go. Lower performance boost period and to turn around for efficiency. I mean 300w 400w 500w gpus we live in 2023 this is a lot of power. This watt usage and performance is nice.

Disappointing from the 4070 but look at the description, Nvidia shadow play has added an extra 3-5 fps loss to the total as well.
