Thank you, I wish my teachers 20 years ago could have explained it the way you did. Math has rules, and in order for everyone to be on the same page, we use PEMDAS for example.

The method is really effective, you made everything really clear but I do not get why the order of operations was not kept at the end of the last sum i.e 28-11+44 Why do we do the sub first? Kindly explain Thanks!!

Thank you! its amazing how the smallest step missed can cause a lifetime of misunderstanding. When I was in school I must have missed the information of going left to right when Mult/Div and Add/Sub. I couldn't understand why I would get some right and some wrong. Now I know.
