After Everything You Need to Know about Pre-Algebra & Algebra 1, I suggest Thinking Mathematically by Robert Blitzer. Its basically simple math and pre-algebra. I haven't started it yet. But I have started Blitzer's Introductory & Intermediate Algebra for College Student's. I suggest that book too. I'm not far it in myself. I just finished the first chapter which is just a review chapter. By my calculations I got about 92 percent of the first chapter correct. Next chapter for me: Inequalities and equations in 1 variable.

Is there a progression map somewhere that tells me the order i should learn the various math subjects in?

For example. Algebra 1 then Geometry then Algebra 2 then Number Theory then Discrete Math, etc.?

I don't have this book but I have seven other Big Fat Notebooks. The Big Fat Notebooks and the 20 Minutes books are very for good self-taught or for homeschooling kids.
