Never thought I'd see the day where AA vs KK vs QQ is dealt and it doesn't go to a flop

Most impressive back to back lay downs I’ve EVER seen. Astonishing. 99% of players would be felted. Really stunning.

We have seen those three hands in competition before but I don't recall ever seeing the hand play out like this.

The level is so high.

Hutter was giving away too much info. When you fold, just shut up until the hand is over.

I’d be happy if I were Phan. Collecting 41K+ and increasing your stack 15%+ without a flop is fully safe.

Don’t always want to test the runout odds….

Her image at the table must be really tight. If you have aces and KK and QQ both fold you are doing something wrong.

She really needed to just call again. Back raise 5 bet AA every time

The blunder here was flatting and then 5-betting. Taking that line and being balanced may as well be impossible. She would have been better off flatting that 4-bet, total exploit however it would have completely disguised her hand and the guy with kings may have shipped it. That being said winning like 30 big blinds in the main without seeing a flop isn’t exactly bad, she just missed out on value

The QQs was an easy fold, but folding KKs anywhere anytime is tough. great laydown

This was honestly very trivial if you think about it. There's NO SUCH thing as flatting a raise, then FIVE BETTING WITHOUT exactly Aces. This is WAY more obvious than the typical limp re-raise.

Guy with Kings has the hardest decision, Queens not so much. Queens knows KK guy folded at least AK, but probably KK since he stood up in disgust.

Hutter telegraphs his hand after he folds 😂

Her mistake was flatting the original raise. If she 3 bet then KK could 4 bet and then QQ prob folds and she can flat call the 4-bet and trap vs another big stack. And she just needs to dodge a K on the flop

I have folded Queens pre flop but I have never folded kings. Well Played.

I played a 1/2 hand at Borgata about 20 years ago with AA v KK v QQ. I was the KK and it was one of two times ever that I folded that hand preflop.

What you have to remember is that preflop all you have is two cards, one pair and that is it. What are our chances to improve on the flop, turn, or river? About one in 8 to improve on the flop. I don't like getting over invested in a hand, any hand preflop. Once the flop hits you have a MUCH better idea of where you are at.

Yet more evidence that you should very rarely slow-play AA pre-flop (after the flop is quite different). Results-oriented, I know, but if she just does a normal raise, she would likely have played a big pot against the KK hand, with the QQ hand having folded out after donating.

I had the exact same game two weekends ago. I had the queens. Everyone stayed in, two queens on the flop... heh

Cold deck, cooler, downswing, blockers... we invented so many terms to be able to cope with the fact that it is a game of chance. Over 10k players in this main event and over 8500 lost 10k in 3 days. 🎉🎉🎉 viva las vegas
