I have a driveway that used to be gravel. Our street was paved a few years ago. The contractors let us sweep the pavement dust up after the street was ground. It made it look paved, but never got that hard. We added bagged asphalt & took diesel fuel to the mix. After 3 weeks in the summer, it melted down & hardened great. I tried blacktop sealer over it. It kept cracking up. I came up with a homemade mix that seems to work. I mixed 1/2 gallon of blackjack roofing & foundation sealer to 4.7 gallons of blackjack 300 sealer. It turned out nice & seems to work well. Bought at Lowe's locally.

Aquaphalt with vibrator plate with Black Jack 700 or 1000. These things made my huge horseshoe driveway look like a pro did it thus saving me over $3, 000 in my driveway repair and sealer.

Used all these types of products in the past on drive way in New England. All about the same. Looks good for about a year or so and then cracks open up again as wells as patched holes. Cheap temporary fix. Eventually I'll have to dig out existing 20 yo asphalt driveway and install a new one.
