Just finished a driveway with the Drive Maxx 1000. The estimates for square footage are way off, bought 20% more product than needed and ended up having to buy 200% of the estimated amount to complete the project with a fifth of a bucket leftover for touch-ups on the edging.

get the 200 its just sand and asphalt emulsion no other stuff like rubber that isn't compatible with your asphalt driveway. You can add sand to it to fill cracks better.

I used the drive max 200 on my tar roof patio today, the store didn't have roof tar as I have used before, do you think it makes a difference? It looks beautiful...I just hope no leaks for the people below me

Bought the 5 year old. Like others say …way off on the estimate. I bought 3 containers to make sure I had enough. Had to buy another container and use it all up. With the three, 2 containers felt light. I weighed them . They should have come out to 49lb each. One was 50…2 were 45 lbs.thats the second rip off.
Three years ago I used 2 2/3 containers to do this entire drive. ( not this brand)
I believe the manufacturers reduced the size of the container but kept the same coverage stats. How else could I have almost doubled the amount needed?
After using up the 3 Black Jack containers, I went out and bought a fourth…not the same brand though.
Its coverage was exactly the same. I would have needed four of that one as well.
The black jack was a thicker product.
At $60 per container, all the work involved, throwing out all my work clothes and shoes, buying an applicator, ….i think I will hire a company next time.
Ps…my neighbour had his done by a company the same time (3 years ago) as I did mine. His still looks good.

Buy the middle of the road stuff and do it every two years and you'll be fine. Mine is 25 years old and looks new

This information was just basic common sense! All you'll have to do is read the label.

Anything in a can sucks that water based slop is a joke. If it dont come on a truck thats read ashpalt it never last. 500$ they used real melted ashpalt oil based rubber compound and my driveway is massive like 195 ft long x 14 wide with a big culdesac circle by the home 500$ pro grade from a ashpalt company. Thats probably half of what this canned crap would of cost that dont last a yr
