Sir, for the last question you solved in the video it is dy/dx = ... but the question says that we need to show that y = ... Is the question incorrect?

Great video. Just one thing, shouldn't the last question say show that dy/dx = ... Thanks.

for the question "given that y = arcsin x², find dy/dx" i have tried twice and cannot seem to get the x^4 part

working:

y = arcsin(x²)

then sin both sides

sin (y) = x²

then differentiate

cos (y) dy/dx = 2x

then rearrange for dy/dx

dy/dx = 2x / cos (y)

then subbed in cos (y) as we did in the first question but don't get the x^4 part

Can you simplify the square root of 1-x^4 to 1-x^2 sir

@3:20 for the second question, why do we multiply the numerator by the differential of the blah and not the deonominator?

When you differentiate sin(y) with respect to x, why does this differentiate into cos(y)dy/dx? Thanks
