Calculus 3 Lecture 14.8: How to Change Variables in Multiple Integrals (Using the Jacobian): Just like what it says! What the Jacobian is and how to use it to do substitutions in multiple integrals. Also discussed is how to find your own transformations.

You describe the topic 100 % the way I want someone to teach me a topic. Explain in detail, recap, explain, recap, "don't miss this", "this is essentially what it's doing" etc. Papa bless!

hello professor.
I'm a student from Malaysia.
I feel really bless to be able to find your channel.
this Playlist really helps me a lot in my study.
May God bless you for sharing your knowledge with the world for free here..
honestly, I really hate this subject.
But, your teaching style make me start to love this subject.
I really like the way you explaining the concept, which make me really understand why, and by adding some jokes also make me think, this subject is fun to learn.
Anyway... thank you very much & pray for my calculus final paper
(p.s: Please mind my grammar. Sorry, I'm not really good at English)

What a legend. Salute to u Prof. Literal blessing for all of us studying multivariable calculus all over the globe.

Whenever Prof Leonard asks, " does that make sense ", even though I'm sitting in my bedroom at my computer and I know he's not actually directing that question to 'ME', I still find myself nodding in agreement to confirm I've understood.

I'm cramming in review before my calc 3 final right now, and I gotta say, this is by far the best explanation of jacobians I've seen online. Thank you Prof. Leonard!

DONE!!! CAN NOT believe that such an instructive series of lessons is totally FREE!!! I fell in love with calculus and math through Professor Leonard's lessons. It was such a significant loss that I didn't find his lessons in my first year. Otherwise, I bet I would get an A in calc2.

My teacher crammed triple integrals and polar and cylindrical, mixed with this and and eigenvalue section on my next test. Not only is he terrible at teaching, we aren’t allowed to use formulas either, so now I’m here.

Thank you so much for posting these lessons online, people really out here are struggling with ridiculous “teachers” who don’t do the job the way you do. You’re an incredible human for passing your knowledge onto the globe. As far as I’m concerned. YOU are my real teacher 🙏🏽

I've never been addicted to math lecture videos until now lol. I'm not even taking multi anymore but I still can't stop watching these videos! Math is so much more fun when you understand it

got a 79% on my last calc exam after your video that was a 29% increased of what I expected I'd get as a grade. Anyway, thank you professor aiming for a B or A on this Wednesday's exam before finals. LETS GET IT!

Sir, finding your channel in the midst of online lessons has to be one of the best things that has happened to me. You good sir have extraordinary personality and your way of simplifying complex ideas into simple methods/explanations is a great talent. I watch your youtube videos instead of watching my own lecture videos now. Thanks for sharing all that you know. God bless.

I love your teaching style! Thank you so much. Most teachers skip over simple details that they think are trivial. However you make sure everyone is on the same page with the topic and allow students who are not naturally gifted at math understand every ounce of the material. Thanks again.

I have never been so excited about math, or genuinely gasped at math concepts. On one hand I feel like the biggest nerd but on the other hand, these lectures are the greatest thing ever.

I watch your videos and the fog lifts. You give me peace approaching the subject. Much love. Thanks Prof Leonard!

Watching you derive the Jacobian for spherical coordinates made my night! I'm totally a "Why" person and not only does the calculus make sense, but linear algebra is starting to click as well. Thank you so so much!

I want to watch all of your tutorials but started with this one--you do a superb job explaining the reason for change of variables and what is actually being done here...great job! Glad you are making these videos...and I like your humor, too....
