Yellowstone National Park: a land of bubbling geysers and stunning scenery. But recent ground movement has some folks on edge. Could this be a sign of a fiery future? In this video, we'll separate fact from fiction, exploring the reasons behind Yellowstone's rising ground and what it might (or might not) mean for a potential eruption. Buckle up as we dive deep into the science behind this fascinating and, admittedly, unnerving, phenomenon.

5:05 I wouldn’t really call that assuming anything when you’re reading the geology of the rocks. It is actual evidence of what has happened in the past, and it will happen again, a lot sooner than most realize.

We just don't know. Could happen tomorrow. But they aren't going to warn us. Nothing anymore can do.

During the month of February, continuous GPS stations in Yellowstone caldera showed subsidence, which has been ongoing since 2015, interrupted in summer months by a pause or slight uplift caused by seasonal changes related to snowmelt and groundwater conditions. The caldera has subsided by about 2.5 cm (about 1 in) since the end of September. No significant deformation has occurred at Norris Geyser Basin since the end of summer.

This place could power our entire country! Why don't we tap into it? Perhaps releasing some pressure?

I thought this video was about Yellowstone, 20 minutes in it starts talking about other places, some volcano related most not.

1816 The global "Year without summer (big freeze)" 3°C temperature drop and crop failures.
April 1815, volcano Mount Tambora began to violently erupt. Millions of tons of ash, dust, and sulfur dioxide were released into the atmosphere, casting a temporary chill across the planet as it Blocked out the Sunlight for months on end. Documented around the world in literature.

That is patently untrue. It erupted about 70, 000 years ago and it was a more effusive eruption with basaltic andesite or just basalt. Also, the magma chamber is not a glob or magma. It is an area of rock with some of the rocks are melted, or partially melted, and some of the rocks are cold. Rocks may be next to a melt of rock and is not melted at all, so you were completely off base about how the magma is distributed in a chamber, and what a chamber actually is. If, or when it interrupts again, it could be Mount Saint Helens like a VEI 5. It could be anything. We just don’t know. In fact, it’s far more likely to be a VEI four or five than ever a VEI eight. It may never have a super eruption again. We simply don’t know. Do your research properly or get a real geologist to help you write your script. This is pretty bad.

They should release the lava with small holes ...to release pressure

If it’s 1-2 inches a year what is it after years

I imagine it would take a huge amount of mass, force to push enough magma up through those chambers, I’d bet. That’s what I’d like to know, what it would take or the science of it.

And the ground is going up and it's going to continue to go up long after we're done on this planet it's going to go up maybe higher than Mount Everest we don't know then one day 🌋
Yellowstone is forming a mountain😊. And one day after humans are gone from this planet it will spew many times the amount of cash to fill the Grand canyon. That's right cash for those of you paying attention💵

So nonchalantly describing the end of the world like he is giving us a tour of the Cabot Cheese factory in Cabot, Vermont. 🐄🧀

It’s a matter of time when it blows.., whenever that may be. Either way, you can’t stop natures fury and I don’t believe many will survive the initial blast… eventually the planet will pay

When the Steamboat Geyser activated 10 Years ago up to these days and the Other Geyser Vents, likewise, radically increased their Venting-Activities without sign of decelerating clearly signal; "That the Large-scale Eruption has to happen very-very-very soon". The great-error in the Resident Geologists Presentations is their inability to consider-and-mention; That the Top Rock-Covering of the Magma is becoming thin-and-thinner everyday because this Rock Covering, also, is forming into Molten Stones, an Additional Source of Molten Magma-and-Pressure - as typically seen last in the Eruptions-Mouth of the Hawaii Volcanoes and the Spanish La Palma Volcano. The increasing Daily Tremor Swarms signal that the Rock Covering is becoming very thin and is undergoing Non-stop Cracking-and-Pulverising - which is the Last Requirement to produce the Large-scale Explosion. How Large is another story. THUS; stop, NOW, the Tourists Entry. GOD bless the Truth Seekers. From a Top-1 Professional Agricultural Engineer.

If you're going to give proper history, at least give proper history of eruptions. It was 640, 000 yrs ago or 70, 000 you keep giving different times

I'd like to see, the so called recording of this, especially since the Earth is ONLY 6, 000 Years old lol....

Sigh, stories and Lies, from what the Bible says, I'd say it will Erupt either This year, or the Next 3 latest....
